From Kronberg to Nepal

Nepal. A fascinating country. Mountains so high that from below you can't see the tops of them with the naked eye: no wonder they are the highest in the world. There are breathtaking national parks to be seen and everywhere are religious traces of Hinduism and Buddhism. But never-the-less Nepal is one of the poorest nations in the world.

So, now a little glimpse in the world of children in one of Nepal's high valleys. Speaking by telephone with Mr Dawa Sherpa. Before though, Mr Sherpa must turn the electricity on by hand: so that the telephone works for the children and for Radijojo.

He speaks with the children of class B of the Montessori school in Germany, on the only telephone in this very inaccessible region. So let's give lots of space to the children's future here and there. Because there's lots to discover.

We would like to thank 'The Initiative-Kronberg-96' for there generous support and setting up and building of schools in the region and also for the contact-connection with Radijojo.
