With art-sharing projects the association "Tara for children and woman" wants to encourage disadvantaged children in India to express them-selves artistically. Through painting, theater and writing stories of the children they are introduced to topics that they care about.

The club started a first attempt with children from tribal communities in Madhya Pradesh. They chose the Adharshila School in Sakad which contacted a Berlin school class - BIP school -. The students learned a lot from each other and dealt with each others culture. They painted self-portraits, showing, what is important and what they like.
